When your samples arrive, here are some tips from our flooring experts on how to choose from your samples.
1. Compare with other elements in the same space.
Hold the sample up and compare it with other finishes and textures in the space. Including cabinetry, furniture, wall colours and any must-have decor choices.
2. Assess how lighting changes the appearance of the colour and grain patterns throughout the day.
We recommend leaving your samples in different areas and viewing them at different times of the day. Both natural and artificial lighting can make a difference in how your flooring looks.
3. Leave your samples for a few days.
Leave your samples in a corner of the room (or out of the way) for a few days, you may find after a couple of days one sample starts to stand out.
